Delete your account
You can delete your fisfis account and everything in it at any time. Your page goes offline straight away, and the account is erased within 30 days.
How to ask
- In the app: open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm.
- On the web: sign in at fisfis.cc, open Settings, then Account, then Delete account. Type DELETE to confirm.
- By email: if you cannot sign in, write to privacy@fisfis.cc from the address on the account, or tell us your username and how you sign in so we can confirm it is yours.
What happens next
Your page, your place in search and your Match profile disappear at once, and nobody can write to you or call you.
Within 30 days we erase the account. Until then, signing in shows the request with a button to keep your account, which puts everything back as it was.
What is erased
- Your account, username, name, picture and page settings.
- Every message, reply, picture and call in your inbox, and the records kept about who sent them.
- Your Match profile, photos and songs, and every Match conversation you were part of.
- Your sessions, signed-in phones, notification settings and connected accounts.
What may be kept
- A record that an account was erased, with counts and no content, so the erasure can be shown to have happened.
- Messages you wrote anonymously to other people's inboxes. They belong to those inboxes and are not linked to your account.
- Weekly backups taken before the erasure, which are used only to recover the service. An account is erased again if one of those backups is ever restored.
- Anything the law requires us to keep, such as reports to the authorities about child safety.
